And He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw the tumult and those who wept and wailed greatly.
And they come to the house of the ruler of the synagogue; and he beholdeth a tumult, and many weeping and wailing greatly.
They came to the house of the synagogue official; and He looked [with understanding] at the uproar and commotion, and people loudly weeping and wailing [in mourning].
When they arrived at the house of the ruler of the synagogue, He looked [carefully and with understanding] at [the] tumult and the people weeping and wailing loudly.
And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
They came to the leader’s house, and he saw a commotion—people weeping and wailing loudly.
They came to the synagogue leader’s house, and he saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly.
When they came to the synagogue official’s house, he found a great commotion, with people weeping and wailing loudly.
They went home with Jairus and saw the people crying and making a lot of noise.
And he comes to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and sees the tumult, and people weeping and wailing greatly.

They went to the synagogue leader’s house, where Jesus saw many people crying loudly. There was a lot of confusion.
Then they came to Jairus's house. Jesus saw that there were many people there. They were crying and they were making a loud noise.
They went into the house of the synagogue ruler, and Jesus saw a commotion with people weeping and wailing loudly.
They came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and Jesus saw a commotion, people weeping and wailing loudly.

They arrived at Jairus' house, where Jesus saw the confusion and heard all the loud crying and wailing.
They came to the leader’s house, and He saw a commotion—people weeping and wailing loudly.
They came to the house of the synagogue ruler, and Jesus found many people there crying loudly. There was much confusion.
When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw mass confusion. People were crying and sobbing loudly.
Then he allowed no one to follow him except Peter and James and John, James’s brother. They arrived at the president’s house and Jesus noticed the hubbub and all the weeping and wailing, and as he went in, he said to the people in the house, “Why are you making such a noise with your crying? The child is not dead; she is fast asleep.”
And they came to the house of the prince of the synagogue and saw the tumult and those that wept and wailed greatly.
And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

And they *came to the house of the synagogue official; and He *saw a commotion, and people loudly crying and wailing.
And they came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue and saw a commotion, and people weeping and wailing loudly.
When they arrived, Jesus saw that all was in great confusion, with unrestrained weeping and wailing.
He permitted no one to go in with him except Peter, James, and John. They entered the leader’s house and pushed their way through the gossips looking for a story and neighbors bringing in casseroles. Jesus was abrupt: “Why all this busybody grief and gossip? This child isn’t dead; she’s sleeping.” Provoked to sarcasm, they told him he didn’t know what he was talking about. But when he had sent them all out, he took the child’s father and mother, along with his companions, and entered the child’s room. He clasped the girl’s hand and said, “Talitha koum,” which means, “Little girl, get up.” At that, she was up and walking around! This girl was twelve years of age. They, of course, were all beside themselves with joy. He gave them strict orders that no one was to know what had taken place in that room. Then he said, “Give her something to eat.”

So He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue and saw the tumult and those who wept and wailed greatly.

Jesus asked everyone but Peter, James, and John (James’s brother) to remain outside when they reached Jairus’s home. Inside the synagogue leader’s house, the mourning had already begun; the weeping and wailing carried out into the street.
He came to the synagogue ruler’s house, and he saw an uproar, weeping, and great wailing.
They came to the ruler's house. Jesus saw that there was trouble. People were crying and making much noise because the ruler's daughter had died.
And they came into the house of the prince of the synagogue. And he saw noise, and men weeping and wailing much.
and he cometh to the house of the chief of the synagogue, and seeth a tumult, much weeping and wailing;
